North Country Cheviot roving. Natural white. Not treated with any bleaches or harsh washing ingredients.
Cheviot, while not a true down wool, is down-like. It’s toothy and has lots of spring, and does not felt easily. It makes for excellent socks, and hard wearing garments. It’s also excellent for household goods, and weaving projects.
This North Country Cheviot comes from a farm in Central Alberta, and was milled in Southern Alberta.
Price is per 100g.
Please note, because no acids are used to dissolve vegetable matter during processing, you may see a few very minimal pieces of VM in your roving.
