It feels like I’ve been promising updates forever, hasn’t it?
And I missed September’s Fibre Notes, I know. I promise that will be back with a combined September/October (although that may not be posted until November…).
There’s been a lot of turmoil this year (as well all know). I feel like I’ve been working slower on woolly things this year than previous years. That includes getting this shop updated, because I do indeed have a bunch of lovely wool to share with you, and in a few months, some 100% Alberta grown and processed roving and yarn.
On top of the general craziness, we’ve also purchased our first home, and we’ve been completely encompassed in all that brings. Let me tell you, the past little bit has been more emotionally and (and sometimes physically) draining than I had anticipated this process to be.
But after some stress, much anticipation, and getting mountains of paperwork ready (my god, the paperwork!), we’ve finally signed on the dotted line. Now it’s all about the actual moving, which, will seem like a cakewalk compared to the back and forth, looking at homes, getting everything squared away, etc.
So, it might seem like I’m going dark here for the next 4-6 weeks, but I’m not. Just imagine me frantically packing and getting stuff to our new HQ – that’s what I’ll be doing.
See you on the flipside.
