Hello fibre lovers!
I’m very pleased to announce that the first of several new shop updates is now live. I have several new fleeces in stock, with more on the way. This first update is for raw fibres – I have some lovely Clun Forest, Dorset, Bluefaced Leicester, Jacob… the list goes on!
I also have restocked the ever popular Breed Sample Packs – the large and small sizes are now available again.
And I’m very pleased to announce that I have a brand new item – the Beginners Fleece Washing Kit
This kit has everything you need to begin washing your own fleeces and is great for those just starting out on their hand-processing journey. It includes 125g of easy to wash fleece (I pick this out specially so there’s not too much lanolin, dirt, or vegetable matter for you to contend with for your first go), one 118 mL (4 oz) bottle of Unicorn Beyond Clean which will do the amount of wool in this kit plus a few more pounds (for when you get your next batch of raw wool), 1 washing bag, and a set of instructions to guide you through the process.
All you need to supply is the water and the gloves.
I have a whole slate of future updates coming up for the next few weeks as well, including a larger selection of washed, but unprepped wools and even prepped fibres. These will be more limited than the raw fibres, and will be a seasonal product, so get them while they’re in.
